**Option 1: Full MS Read and Editorial Analysis **
What you get:
an initial phone call or Zoom consultation (up to 30 minutes) to discuss your goals for the manuscript, any roadblocks you are facing, and outline a path forward for our work together
4-5 double-spaced page editorial analysis of what is working in your manuscript and opportunities for revision across all craft elements, tailored to your goals for the book
a second phone call or Zoom consultation (up to 30 minutes) to discuss editorial analysis and address any questions
Cost: $1000 up to 300 pages, $50 additional for every 50 pages beyond 300
**Option 2: Full MS Read with Editorial Analysis and In-text Comments **
What you get:
an initial phone call or Zoom consultation (up to 30 minutes) to discuss your goals for the manuscript, any roadblocks you are facing, and outline a path forward for our work together
4-5 double-spaced page analysis of what is working in your manuscript and opportunities for revision across all craft elements, tailored to your goals for the book
Comments throughout your manuscript offering analysis of specific craft choices as they relate to elements like plot, tension, pacing, character development, structure, language, consistency, and use of setting, or any other craft considerations that you are interested in discussing as determined in our intial meeting
a second phone call or Zoom consultation (up to 30 minutes) to discuss editorial analysis and address any questions
Cost: $1500 up to 300 pages, $75 additional for every 50 pages beyond 300
Option 3: Partial MS Read/Book Coaching
Want feedback on a project in progress? Feeling stalled out halfway through your book and in need of some motivation and a second pair of eyes? This may be the option for you. Together we’ll take a look at what you’re working with in your manuscript and discuss ways to move forward and how you might energize your writing process to get you across the finish line on that crucial first draft.
What you get:
- an initial phone call or Zoom consultation (up to 30 minutes) to discuss your goals for the manuscript, any roadblocks you are facing, and outline a path forward for our work together
- 2-3 double-spaced pages analyzing what is working in your manuscript and opportunities for revision across all craft elements, tailored to your goals for the book
- A follow-up phone call or Zoom consultation (up to 30 minutes) to discuss how you might move forward based on the manuscript analysis and your goals for the novel
Cost: $500 up to 150 pages, $50 additional for every 50 pages beyond 150. Additional meetings available beyond the two included in this package at the rate of $75/hr. Depending on my capacity I can occasionally provide book coaching services in a more extended and ongoing way, during which time we will work together to fine tune your priorities and goals and create deadlines to help you finish or refine your draft.

I am an award-winning novelist and experienced teacher with a strong focus on craft-based analysis of full-length and partial manuscripts. As a reader I prioritize respect and compassion while providing specific and actionable feedback so that you come away with a firm handle on the work you need to do in order to take your novel to the next level.
Please note that these consultation services are focused on developmental edits rather than line edits or copy edits, as I think it is crucial that writers understand the scope of their story and the tools they are using to tell that story before focusing on more granular edits.
